this movie was boring all the way through however there was a scene where gerard butler is standing in front of a bunch of dead soldiers. gerard butler is munching on an apple and one of his soldiers gingerly steps over the dead soldiers to speak to gerard butler. I NEVER LAUGHED SO HARD!!! this was a funny scene although it was not intended to be funny.

the scene reminded me of monty python. if not for that scene i would have turned the movie off. the movie sucked.

i caught plug for the movie on tv. i went ahead and rented this movie on the On Demand network. Nice guy johnny was a diappointment. Predictable, boring, cliche... I guess this is what happens when a set is lacking the proper ingredients for a truly memorable, great movie. i think edward burns should return to cooking school.
