It's hilarious and sweet and yet it feels like real life, something a lot of movie can't do. It's one of my favorites.
Judging by the commercials I wasn't that excited about this movie. But I was bored one day and decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. It's great. And not just for kids. There's no "adult humor" but it takes itself seriously and I appreciate it. The characters are adorable and the story is really good. I definitely recommend it.
This is one of the best movies I've seen in years. The story, the characters, the special effects, the stunts, the twists; everything is perfectly planned and executed in a way that makes you really think and will keep you dreaming about it for weeks after you see it. There's not one thing I didn't love about this movie.
If you watched the series, you'll hate it. If you didn't see the series and just want to watch an interesting movie, you'll hate it. The characters are butchered into bland boring space fillers in a storyline that can't decide where it's going. The random bits of narration from a character who's not even the main focus of the story seem like a desperate attempt to look like they knew what they were doing. They didn't Don't waste your time or money.
This movie is beautiful and intriguing. I didn't read the book but I really want to now. The acting is good, but nothing really special next to the beautiful story. I won't spoil it, but you will be in tears at the end. I guarantee it.
Every line that came out of anyone's mouth was some horrible movie cliche delivered in a way that was so overly dramatic you had to laugh and ask "Are they serious with this?" At the beginning it's overlook-able with the cool espionage scene, but once you actually enter the grid it's just too much to take. Good special effects, but besides that it's just one big ball of corny cliches. It's fun for laughs but i wouldn't suggest it if you're expecting a real action movie.
