This movie was extremely unrealistic and at times quite scary... I watched it with friends but DO NOT watch alone! If you're a die-hard for scary movies, go for it--but if you hate blood, gore, or anything creepy, don't watch. You will never look at a closet or an attic the same way again, I can guarantee.
Gnomeo & Juliet was the modern-day adaptation of a more serious Romeo & Juliet. It was cute and funny at times, but one of those movies that could easily have been a half hour shorter. At some points it got boring as an adult, but from the standpoint of a child it's funny. I'd recommend it for kids, it was overall a decent movie.
One of the greatest comedies I have seen. Tina Fey plays a successful entrepreneur named Kate who isn't interested in a relationship, but suddenly falls in love with children and wants one of her own. Through a hilarious sequence of events, she tries to get a baby of her own. This movie has the perfect balance of humor and logic, and I would definitely recommend it because it isn't a cliché chick flick, and it's a great laugh.
In the beginning, it's your typical love story: a guy lives in Hawaii, goes to a coffee shop and meets this girl, they end up liking each other, and promise to meet up again the next day. So, nothing at this point seems too out-of-the-ordinary. However, the next day the guy (Henry-Adam Sandler) returns to the coffee shop to meet up again with the girl (Lucy-Drew Barrymore), but there's a problem: Lucy has no clue who he is. For the rest of the movie, Henry makes videos and diaries and comes back every single day to fall in love with Lucy all over again, but she still doesn't seem to remember who he is. The movie is slightly sad, but with the addition of some hilarious other characters, it has a humorous element. Some parts can get quite tacky, but overall I would highly recommend it.. otherwise, you'll never know what happens in the end!
