** This is an exclusive review of th 2 disc dvd, To see a more in depth review of the movie please see the Twilight review**
I had a much better experience with this movie seeing it on DVD. There was things i didn't notice the first time, and some scenes appeared better in the dvd. For example the "Sparkle" scene with Edward in the Sun. It appeared much brighter and more vivid on the DVD then it did in the theatre.
The 2 disc dvd comes with great special features. Including 3 music videos by Paramore, Muse and Linkin Park, Who all feature on the Twilight Original Soundtrack. There are 5 extended scenes that we didn't get to see, and there are 5 deleted scenes.
Scene Title:Are People Talking about the Cullen's again?
1. One thing that wasn't shown in the movie was bella cooking for charlie, there wasn't even a hint of it mentioned, I think that was such a big part of who bella was, and her character in the book. This scene took place in the diner with Bella and Charlie, and here she mentions to him that she can cook for him sometime. I think the seen should have stayed. It would have brought more from the book into the movie.
Scene Title: James Let's not play with our food
2.This scene was from the part of Waylons murder. When i read about Waylon being murdered, I imagined it to be intense, but in this scene is wasn't portrayed well at all, There was no struggle from waylon and it almost looked Slow Motion. Then there was a scene of the 3 of them walking away from waylons murder and they had blood dripping from the sides of their mouth, and it look amature, it almost looked to be a bad halloween costume.
Scene Title:You don't know how it's tortured me
3. I thought this scene was a must have for the movie. Bella's and Edward's chemistry was already explosive in the movie, but this just showed more the the passion Bella had for Edward almost instantaineously.
Scene Title: A Hundred year's worth of Journal's
4.This scene wasn't to different from the scene the chose for this part. Edward had laying around 100 years worth of journals. I would have liked to here a passage from the journal, it would have been interesting.
Scene Title: Don't read Charlie's Mind
5.This was a good scene, Cute. It had a bit of comedy.
** The Extended scenes total time was 6 minutes and 10 seconds
Scene Title:Edward, She's not one of us
1. I think this scene was needed. Emmett Didn't have much lines in the movie, and this gave him one more, It was short, but it also showed Edwards non stop fasination with Bella, and Bella's frustration for not understanding why Edward was being so cold to her.
Scene Title: That's the first night i dreamt of Edward Cullen
2.I'm glad this scene didn't get into the movie, not because i didn't like it, but because the first kiss between bella and edward was meant to be so intense, this scene would have taken that away.
Scene Title:Bella, your number was up the first day i met you
3.Loved it, up until the little "Love Bite" edward gave Bella. In my opinion Edward wouldn't have been able to handle that sort of temptation, atleast that calmly. Also edward would have never of bite bella, he hated hurting her.
Scene Title: She's brought him to life
4. Why was this scene not in the movie?? This scene should have been kept. In the books the love Carlisle and Esme had for each other was so stong and descriptive. We didn't get to see any of that in the movie, except for this part, and it was cut.
Scene Title: I Love it When men Chase me
5.For People who haven't read the books, they probably had no clue that James and Victoria were mates, except for the one tiny part you seen them arm and arm at the baseball diamond. This scene has a passionate kiss between James and Victoria and i think it should have stayed in the movie.
** The Total time for the deleted scenes are 2 minutes and 23 Seconds
The Audio Commentary was great, and Hillarious, it was done by Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. I enjoyed the commentary so much, and if you haven't watched it yet, you need to do it now.
THE 7 PART FEATURE:
There is a 7 part feature of a thorough break down of taking the book and making a movie, I foun it very interesting. I explained everything from story boards, CGI, Stunts and so much more.
THE COMIC-CON FEATURE
This was good to, i wasn't to informative about casting or anything, but it was funny to watch the twilighters go into a frenzy. The Twilighters also got to see a Viewing of the Movie
I loved this, I enjoyed it so much more then i did then seeing it in the theatre, and the special feature were such a bonus. I am a proud owner of this 2 Disc Special, and I recommend everybody to grab it. It will have you entertained for hours. Enjoy!!
"Yeah, it's a cure-all. My buddy Jonah broke his elbow one time. He just smoked some weed. It still clicks, but it's cool."
Another great one from Seth Rogan. This movie was great, and pretty realistic. I would have never thought to put Katherine Heigl and Seth Rogan in the same movie together, let alone an on-screen couple, but they were fantastic. The Chemistry was all there, and the Awkward love scenes were hillarious. The Whole cast was great, Seth Rogan likes to work with the same cast and I can handle that because they all are great, and I love seeing them all together. Would love to see a Sequal of How Fatherhood is treating him, and what shananagans he can get himself into.
Based off The Shopaholic Book Series by Sophie Kinsella.
I wasn't thrilled with this movie, I haven't read the books so I can't compare but this movie left me bored. I just couldn't get into it. About 30 minutes into the movie I started to see potential, I was starting to get into it, but then it just slowed down again. For a movie based on a girls shopping addiction for over priced clothing, I thought the fashion really lacked. I thought the wardrobe for this movie was a bit strange.
Isla Fisher was in my opinon what kept the movie going for me, or else I probably would have walked out half way through, She did have some great moments and was quite funny. I would recommened this movie to a younger audience.
A Pot Head witnessed a cop commiting a murder and now is forced to go on the Run with his Dealer.
This is a Classic Stoner movie, Just add it to your Collection of The Cheech and Chong Movies, Th Friday Movies, and Grass.
Though this movie wasn't one of Seth Rogans Best, It still had me laughing. James Franco and Seth Rogan were great together. The Story line was great but i found that at some points it got a little slow, but the great one-liners would seemed to come at the right time and fix that. Over all this was a good movie, and If you are a Seth Rogan fan then you should definatly see it, because he hasn't failed yet.
The Story of a successful business woman who can't get pregnant so she finds a surrogate mother.
This movie had me laughing from beginning to end, it was such a refreshing comedy. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were classic. A wonderful team, and I loved watching them. Steve Martins Character was histarical. I couldn't have picked a better cast, Everyone's onscreen chemistry was great. The movie just flowed. I would love to see another film with this cast again, Perhaps a Sequel. I recommed this movie to anyone looking for a good laugh.
Based on The Stephenie Meyer Twilight Saga. Twilight is the First movie out of 4 installments.
I thought the cast Was Great, couldn't have picked them better. I thought the storyline was great, but if you have read the book before the movie you could be left disapointed. I loved the movie, but there were lots ot things left out. The movie was 2 hours long, but there were still some scenerios that could have stayed without the movie being to long. The Chemistry between the 2 stars Kristen Stewart(Bella Swan) and Rob Pattinson(Edward Cullen) was electrifying. The movie left me Happy but a little dissapointed. I don't think it lived up to what it could have been.
A Story of a young couple in their country home being terrorized by 3 masked strangers. Rumour has it that this movie was inspired by a true story, but research confirmed that Writer and Director Bryan Bertino said "a stranger came to his happy home asking for someone who was not there, and Bertino later found out that empty homes in the neighborhood had been broken into that night, but said his main inspiration was Helter Skelter "
This Movie did scare me, and I am not easy to scare. I love horror movies, but this one was more of a psychological horror, It gets into your head. I wish the story was more complete though, I wasn't to thrilled with the ending, and in most cases I would rate the movie based on that, but the movie has enough to leave me satisfied. Although I wouldn't mind a sequel. It reminded me a lot of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre stories, Just a Family, that is sick and twisted and brutally murders innocent people for no reason. I would recommed this movie if you enjoy a good horror movie.
The True story of the first openly Gay elected Offical. This film was phenomenal. The Story of Harvey Milk was truly inspiring. Sean Penn's performance left me speechless and he became Harvey Milk. All the actors were outstanding, I have never seen any of them in roles like these and they all blew me away. This movie I recommend everybody to watch. I also recommend people to watch "The Times of Harvey Milk". He was truly an amazing individual who risked his life everyday to do what was right. Outstanding Film!
*Clap, Clap, Clap*
First off i would like to applaud Heath Ledger for his phenomenal performence playing the Joker. It left me speechless. This movie was more like 2 movies in one to me, It was like Batman saving the city...and then Joker...He took the movie to a whole other level. I was not expecting something that marvelous. The Special Effects were so well done, and the music fit perfectly. It was truly an amazing theatrical performance.
