Clash of the Titans was O.K. The special effects was great, but the plot and the dialog especially were awful. It was kind of like a Greek road trip movie. The scene with the Kraken was epic! I wish I could see that in 3D (real 3D not "post production" 3D)! I think the worst thing about this movie was the poster. It gives away whats going to happen. I mean really, when a guy is holding what is clearly Medusa's head, what else could he be doing with it? So overall, i recommend you just ignore this movie, it's nothing special. 4.7/10
Keanu Reeves is still a wooden as ever (heh heh, wood), but it's more appropriate now due to his character. I think Jennifer Connelly was poorly cast and the kid isn't that great either. So far I already don't like the cast. I don't like the fact that the alien who has come to help us find peace, is doing something that would harm people. That's like a flower polluting. Plus the special effects weren't that great, they were like millions of flies and a giant ball, barely any variety. I don't immediately put down movies because they're remakes. So I don't like this movie because I just don't. Not just because I liked the original.
This movie was disappointing. I expected much better from this movie. Although the animation was stunning, the plot didn't interest me much. I also thought this movie was a little depressing. All these Apocalyptic movies. We need more movies like "Up". Another problem I had with this movie was that it was too short. Usually the problem is it's too long and you get bored, but here I wasn't satisfied with the length.
I'm not sure weather this is a Sequel or a prequel. It's kind of both. Although Salvation wasn't as good as the first two Terminator movie, it was better than the third. The special effects are great, but that shaky camera thing, yecch, I hope that fad ends soon. I'm glad we finally get to see a more in depth look at the post-judgment day war. Overall, the acting was pretty good, and the direction was decent, the plot: not that great. But still a good movie.
Let me start off with this, romantic comedies usually always suck. The main character is usually the girl, and she's usually dumb, blond, or both. But (500) Days of Summer was a unique addition to the romantic comedy genre. For one, the characters are easy to relate to. Another thing that separates this movie from other Romantic Comedies is it's actually funny. And not funny because it's bad either. My favorite part was the expectations/reality scene. I don't think anyone in the history of cinema has ever done anything like that. Before I saw this, a lot of people were saying it was snubbed at the Oscars, and I agree. It was a great movie, but a lot of times the academy doesn't pick the best movies. My suggestion is: If you are not an emotionless troll, see this movie.
